Suicide Prevention Poster

This is the poster that I designed.... All credit for the drawing and sketching goes to Jovann Quillope, my best friend, and future Prom King!!! I used this font because I think it makes a lot of sense... Like using the word lifeline. I chose the yellow sweater because it looks like a suicide ribbon, and it is a little hint, telling the person looking at it, that this is about Suicide, and suicide prevention.

Proposal

I am in a group with Jovann, Robert, Hanicka, and Rosie. Jovann is sketching out the poster art, and he will do it on the computer so that we all get our own to do what we want with it. We will all play with the colors, and the words used in the poster to make the design of the poster the best it can be, and then we'll decide on the best one. The sketch that Jovann came up with was a woman wrapping her arms around a man with tears in his eyes and the woman's sweater is yellow so her arms look like a yellow ribbon. I think the sketch is really awesome and I want to utilize the color yellow a lot. That is my proposal.

"Game On" Reflection

I think the video was cool, it showed the start of video games, gaming consoles, even arcade games, in chronological order. It was informative and it really answers a lot of questions that I had about video games. I think it would be cool if we saw a video about what its like to be a new age game designer. Or a game creator for new games, to show what it would be like to design a new game and what it takes to be one now a days.

Africa Propaganda

This is my poster, its not really "KONY" orientated... But I do believe it that it shows the epidemics that are unfolding in Africa today.

Joseph Kony

Joseph Kony is a man that has been committing crimes for years and has gone unnoticed. He has been kidnapping children from their homes and have been forced to become child soldiers. The females become sex slaves. Kony does this without any support of an organization or cause, but only to maintain his power. Well he is now seen, he is noticed, and he needs to be stopped. This is why the Invisible Children organization has come out with the Kony 2012 movement where they will get Joseph Kony's name all over the world so that everyone will know who he is and it will be easier to find and capture Kony.
